No, this is not about the porn star payoff scandal plaguing the clownstick in the oval office. 

Here, let me tell you about last week in verse:

There once was a girl named Gia

Who lived in an apartment with her Kitty

A storm came real bad

It made them real sad

And the electricity decided to quitty. 

Yep I lost power. It sucked. What about Boyfriend, you ask?

Gia's Boyfriend lived a few miles away

And his power stayed on - hooray!

But the snow there fell worse

And it made Boyfriend curse 

And now he wants to move far away.

Hope my fellow east coasters fared alright!

First Snow

Many of my east coast readers were in the same boat this weekend:

KITTY DOESNT LIKE THE COLD, YOU GUYS. 

Ok, maybe the weather wasn't that bad where I live. But it WAS somewhat unexpected and DEFINITELY mildly inconvenient. Boo winter.

Snow Day(s)!

Well guys, I got my snow day. 

It's been unseasonably cold and snowy all week, and there's been a chill in my apartment that Kitty and I can't shake.

Kitty has a pretty good way of dealing with this.

Yep, hanging out on top of my old fashioned heaters.

I'm on the east coast, where a fairly large blizzard is due tonight/Tuesday. Normally I'm against mid-March snow, but since I can't do anything about it, I'm giddy. Maybe it has to do with this:

I'm feeling pretty confident I won't be going to work on Tuesday. I already have my day planned.

Yeah guys, we got slammed by the snowstorm this weekend. It's been rough. 

Yep, Boyfriend and I had to cancel our plans, which makes me cranky. I suppose I had it a bit easier than he did, though.

Yes, Boyfriend's puppy refused to poo all day. It's been very stressful for him. 

So I've been hanging out on my couch with my wine and kitty, and Boyfriend's been going outside regularly where it's dark, cold, and snowing sideways. Womp womp.  

Anyway, I hope those of you on the east coast survived the storm!
