Just to cheer you up, Calgary is warm and sunny these days. Warm as in 14 C yesterday, which is almost room temperature, but I don't know what that is in the old timey degrees. Maybe getting to about freezing at night. Been this way all last week, looks like all next week too. Just thought you'd want to know.
Where I live we had 6" of snow in a place that gets snow maybe once per year and it shuts the city down like crazy if there's even a HINT of snow POSSIBLE the next day. But I got the day off and got to see my infant fuck around in the snow for the first time. That was awesome. I hate Winter too, but if you can see a child with ill-fitting gloves try to throw a snowball, it makes it kind of worth it. Kind of.
Stay strong.

ReplyDeleteThere's an "I'd give anything for a couple of inches" joke ready to be made, but I'm still too busy enjoying this 70 degree weather to make it.
ReplyDeleteNever forget the blizzard of '17.
ReplyDelete18, 19 or 2017?

ReplyDeleteIt was 5 below this morning when I went to work. I couldn't dress warm enough.
