YAY NO WORK YAY

For those in the US: Happy Fourth of July to you and your pets, who may or may not believe that fireworks signal the end of the world.

    I don't work Fridays in the summer.
    I have Saturday and Sunday off.
    I took a vacation day today.
    Tomorrow is a Federal holiday.
    Hence, a five day weekend.
    Plenty of time to work in the yard.
    Eff.

    Have an awesome 4th! My cats and dogs really don't care about fireworks. Or thunder. Or any noise, really. I imagine all of them could just nap straight through my violent murder.

    Turns out babies aren't real fond of explosives either. Found that out the hard way last night. (Sarcasm font from this point forward) So, I'm really psyched about tonight. (End sarcasm font.)

    Our cats don't seem too bothered by fireworks. The excavator that's been tearing up our yard, on the other hand...
