It's a Trap!

As I may have mentioned (ha!), I have a cat. And Kitty likes to do this thing where she lays on her back, shows me her belly, pulls her paws up, and meows.

It's a fairly common cat thing to do. But with Kitty, it's a trap. She does it to attack my hand as I go in to pet her, in a fun game I think she calls "mauling Gia."

It's ALWAYS a trap.

And yet, this happens about once a week:

Every. Damn. Time.

  1. I had a roommate with a cat like that. She was always clawed up.

The pop culture definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. But I know: Cats are adorable.

  2. You are Charlie Brown to her Lucy and the football.

  3. Have you tried kicking and biting her back?

    ...I'm bad at cats.

  4. You have a cat? The cat has you.

  5. "Worth it?" What are you getting out of it, or is this your subtle way of becoming an emo cutter without having to cut yourself, you're letting the cat do it?
