I’m a Lion and/or Lazy Housecat

As you may recall, I’m moving in a couple of weeks. In an amazing stroke of luck, my neighbor moved and let me have a bunch of furniture for freesies.

I got a desk, a couple of bookshelves, cornershelves, and a big wardrobe-like television holder. It’s awesome, but for the next couple of weeks I’m cramped in here.

Luckily, I can still sit on the futon.

I'm liking "Potato" more and more...

  1. You could call him "Tito" for short. And when he does something stupid, you could say, "Aw, po' Tito."

  2. If I'm reading this right, you're going to exercise with Potato by locking your self and lil French-fry in a bathroom. Then Tater-Tot goes nucking futs and you fight for your life, burning calories in the process? I was an English major, so my deep reading may have gone too deep.
Free furniture is cool. Would it be insulting to have a yard sale and use the proceeds for new stuff? (People still use television cabinets with flat screens?)

  3. As a Republican, I believe your cat should be named Potatoe.

  4. AND...when Potato has kittens, they will be called Tater Tots!

  5. Please don't nickname him "Tater". I can't live on a planet with one more animal named Tater.

    Love,

  7. Our 15 pound siamese rescue cat is gorgeous, but because she weighs so much (no health issues, we had her tested) we call her our "sack of potatoes" ! She is just big-boned! Best of luck with with move and the kitty. As a self named expert at both, 4 cats presently and moved 26 times, I know what a chore you have ahead of you. I'm sure the BF will help, though ;)

  8. That is the best! Just think of all the cat beds you now have with all that furniture!
