I GOT A KITTY!!!!

Big news you guys:

YAAAY!!!!! She's a 12 week old kitten who is absolutely adorable. 

Things did not go smoothly when I first brought her home.

Luckily, hero Boyfriend made an appearance.

He got her to come out and say hi. 

She was sad when she first came home :( 

Later, she warmed up a bit and even cuddled with us. 

I didn't want to startle her.

So there you have it! I'll try not to make this blog become totally cat focused, but no promises. 

Operation Cat Update

So, this is a short post. I've been busy with some work stuff and father's day and the way more exciting news below.

YOU GUYS I COULD BE A CAT OWNER THIS WEEK. THIS. WEEK. I think I need to go prepare. And by that I mean, buy an excessive amount of cat toys. Cross your fingers for me!

Letters for Kitty

Since I moved, Operation Get a Cat is in progress. Boyfriend hooked me up with contact info for a nearby cat rescue organization, so I need to email the woman in charge.

BRB gotta go send an email!

Packing and Boxes and Moving, Oh My!

I’m moving next week! Do you know what that means?

Yes, yay. It means something else, too.

Yep, it’s packing time. I decided to start small.

Boyfriend had some good advice.

I’ve concluded that packing triggers some kind of black magic, where you pack boxes and boxes and there’s always still stuff left and it crushes your spirit.

I’m a Lion and/or Lazy Housecat

As you may recall, I’m moving in a couple of weeks. In an amazing stroke of luck, my neighbor moved and let me have a bunch of furniture for freesies.

I got a desk, a couple of bookshelves, cornershelves, and a big wardrobe-like television holder. It’s awesome, but for the next couple of weeks I’m cramped in here.

Luckily, I can still sit on the futon.  

I'm liking "Potato" more and more...
