The Bad Idea

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!

I decided this was a good idea:

Why? I don't know. I had been away from kitty for a few nights and felt bad, and thought maybe she'd get along with Boyfriend's kittens.

Right away, I should have known better.

Anyway, I got her in the car for the short 20 minute ride.

Yep, she threw up at approximately minute 18 of 20. And the way home the next day? Puked her little kitty guts out again (whilst jumping from the back seat to the front, to make sure she got the whole interior).

If anyone needs me, I'll be cleaning out my car and looking up car sear covers on amazon. Sigh.

  1. Is it that the cat gets motion sick, or are you one of those short stop/fast acceleration types that make even the strongest of stomachs churn? I empathize with the cat, I'm so motion sensitive that I can make myself car sick while driving.

  2. Oh, yum. I'd trade that car in quick if I were you.

  3. Maybe one of those cat carrier things with a cover would calm her down. Why do cats and kids wait until you are almost there?

  4. I second the cat carrier. I have a plush one that's all soft on the inside. My kitty loves it. She's also never puked in my car. Coincidence? I think not!

  5. You took a cat in the car without putting her in a carrier? Are you out of your mind? I mean, you might want to put Kitty in a carrier next time.

    Love,

  6. Did Kitty shred the interior, too? If not then you should be thankful for the barf, but seat covers are always a good idea with pets or children.

  7. Poor Kitty had an upset tummy. Not fun for either of you, I guess. How did she get along with Boyfriend's kittens. Maybe the puking on the way back home was trying to tell you something.
