Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I've decided that I really can't outdo last year's Thanksgiving post, so I'm reposting it here again today. Enjoy!
______________________________________________________________________

It’s not exactly a Bible story, but I'm retelling the story of the First Thanksgiving.

In 16somethingsomething, a bunch of Pilgrims came to America.

Yay, religious tolerance! How nice!

They brought supplies with them to get through the first winter in America.

They were in trouble.  But then the pilgrims met the natives.

The pilgrims didn’t really understand the native people or their ways.

The pilgrims were also kind of jerks.

Things started to look pretty bleak for the pilgrims. Until...

The native americans shared their harvest, and the pilgrims survived.

And they were super grateful. For a solid five minutes.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

The Mindy Project is Freaking Awesome so Why am I Hearing that it Might Be Cancelled?

So, you know how I reenact watching movies and tv shows sometimes on this blog? I was thinking about how I needed to do one for Homeland (thank god Dana wasn’t in the last episodes) or the Mindy Project. And this weekend, I read about the Mindy Project going on hiatus and how its ratings aren’t that good and it might be cancelled.

Boyfriend and I both like the Mindy Project a lot. Especially Boyfriend.

Seriously, Boyfriend even chose watching Mindy over sleeping. That’s a big deal for him. Episodes usually go like this:

Shipping explained here.

Anyhoo, Boyfriend rarely likes network television shows, but we both think Mindy is fantastic. So you totally need to watch it and tell everyone you know to watch it and watch it on three different televisions and boost its ratings up so its never cancelled and we can see Mindy and Danny get together, ok?

Thanksgiving is an Overrated Holiday

This week in point/counterpoint: Thanksgiving.

Boyfriend disagrees.

(I wrote about that here)

Ok, I’m exaggerating Boyfriend’s enthusiasm slightly, only because he’s not really that giddy about anything ever. But where do you guys fall on Thanksgiving?

I Had One of Those Weekends.

I’ve been busy for the past couple of weekends – hanging with Boyfriend at seaside house, celebrating some friends’ bdays, heading to parents’ house. But this weekend, I had nothing on my calendar. I wasn’t even seeing Boyfriend on Saturday. And as much as I love doing seeing him, the idea of having literally nothing to do from Saturday morning to Sunday night was amazing.

Moar internet, moar internet speaks

And then I spent a ridiculous amount of hours in bed.

Sunday went similarly.

What about you guys? Were you even slightly productive this weekend?
