Heart Palpitations

It's kinda sweet

Does anyone else get heart palps? And anyone have any good solutions that don't involve not drinking? Hugging, perhaps?

  1. I don't even really know what heart palpitations are. All I know is what Woody Allen said about marrying his step daughter, "the heart wants what it wants." So yeah, maybe his heart just wants you and is crying out for you by beating irregularly.

  2. He should definitely go get checked out, at least to see what kind of palpitations he's getting. Even atrial fibrillation, which is less serious that ventricular, can lead to a stroke.

And I'm sorry to say, alcohol is often a contributing factor.

  3. I've had them - in my case, it's no big deal at all, other than it feels like you are dead for a few seconds. If he has no other underlying heart condition (murmur, etc), he'll be just ducky - but a doc needs to determine that!

  4. In my case, zoloft cured my heart palpitations, or racing heart, or whatever. But he needs to see a doctor to figure that out.

  5. See a doctor! Give up drinking for a week or two, and yes...hug.

Even serious subjects you make me laugh.

  6. I've had them and it turned out to be a malfunctioning thyroid gland. All kinds of serious things can trigger heart palpitations so he needs to get his ass into the doctor. They also made me stop drinking coffee until they figured that shit out.

  7. What exactly are heart palpitations? I've heard of them but still don't know what they are. Maybe I have them, but how can I know? Anyway, he should see a doctor. Heart things are serious business.

  8. Sounds like panic attacks to me. He should get a prescription for Xanax and then send the bottle of little pink pills to me. Valium would be even better. His generosity to me will end the heart palpitations.

  9. My prescription is 100 CCs of MAN THE F*** UP.

No, but seriously, get that checked out. You never can be too cautious when it comes to your own health.

  11. I might have heart problems. Or maybe it's just my lungs acting up. I can't tell, they both hurt in the same area.
