I Walk Hard.

Boyfriend and I took a walk last weekend.

There was a giant hole in the bottom of it.

So Boyfriend and I went shoe shopping last weekend.

You know how I feel about Five Below.

We went to a real shoe store.

So I bought myself a pair of shiny new heavy duty walking shoes. I’m hoping these hold out a bit longer than the last pair.

Does this happen to anyone else?

  1. Isn't "Walk Hard" a movie? I'm trying to picture how you would wear a hole in something other than your heel. Are you doing pirouettes every time you step? There are shoe repair stores, I've heard, but never used because what kind of magic is that where they can resole your shoes without charging you as much as a new pair would cost? Okay, I've gone on long enough.

  2. This is terrible but all I can see is you walking like Kramer in that episode of "Seinfeld" where he had the exercise sneakers and people thought he was handicapped. XD

  3. So what constitutes a "walking shoe?" Unless you're a paraplegic, aren't all shoes "walking shoes"? Or are they called that because they will disintegrate if you should try to run?

  4. You are a "Pip!"

That's a good thing in old people speak.

  5. thinking of a new show, The Walking Hard: Careful How You Go There! haha

I have not put a hole in my shoe, but I have wore the sole of the show down more on one side -- hubby tells me it is because "my gait is wrong".
not sure what fencing has to do with walking......but all these damn sports confuse me anyway. I mean soccer.....football....can the world not get together on this?

  6. Are you Dewey Cox now? I hate that movie. One time I was out walking with one of my puppies and the heel came loose from my shoe and was flapping up and down as I took each step. I came home and fixed it with duct tape. I'm still wearing those shoes.

    Love,

  12. Yes, I have a tendency to have this happen to my left foot ALL THE TIME. Apparently I walk *really* hard on that foot.

  13. I tend to wear shoes until they're so shot, the garbage man turns up his nose at 'em, but I've never worn a hole clear through a shoe bottom AND sock. Wow, you must do some seriously hard walking!

  14. Mine are all minimal shoes. So far no holes which is good given how thin they are. Sometimes I run barefooted.

  15. hahahahaha!
It could be worse. You could have a hold in your undies. I don't even want to know what that means.

  18. I've never worn holes in my sneakers. I just wear them until the tread is practically flat. I suck at buying new clothing.
