So, you know how I reenact
watching movies and tv shows sometimes on this blog? I was
thinking about how I needed to do one for Homeland (thank god Dana wasn’t in
the last episodes) or the Mindy Project. And this weekend, I read about the
Mindy Project going on hiatus and how its ratings aren’t that good and it might be cancelled.
Boyfriend and I both like the Mindy Project a lot.
Especially Boyfriend.
Seriously, Boyfriend even chose watching Mindy over
sleeping. That’s a big deal for him. Episodes usually go like this:

Anyhoo, Boyfriend rarely likes network television shows, but
we both think Mindy is fantastic. So you totally need to watch it and tell
everyone you know to watch it and watch it on three different televisions and
boost its ratings up so its never cancelled and we can see Mindy and Danny get
together, ok?
NO! NOOOOOOOOO! Oh, not the Mindy thing being canceled, the cursed return of "shipping"! I would watch that show but I don't have cable and I don't think watching it on Hulu counts toward ratings. But I will actively campaign to have it canceled if it brings back "shipping".
ReplyDeleteI've never even heard of this show, but that may be because I don't actually have TV service. So if you buy my TV service, I'll totally watch this show and help give it a 0.00001% boost in ratings. Fair? Totally fair.

ReplyDeleteI don't watch much TV, but I suggest a letter writing campaign to whatever network it's on. Speaking of mailing stuff, will you and Boyfriend each please send me a birthday card to pass on to my (former) mother-in-law? I'm not getting as many volunteers as I thought I would. Details are in my post for today. You can call yourselves Mayor Gia and Boyfriend. No need to give away identities. And spread the word? Please, please please please pretty please with sugar on top?

Aw, that would be bad if they canceled it. I really don't like sitcoms anymore in my old age, but I do love that one. She is just adorable. And I completely agree about her and Danny!

ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite show, I don't want Danny and Mindy to get together but that's because I really love their UST, so I would rather they get together until the last episode ever.
