Short Work Update Thingy

So, this is a short post/explanation for my less-than-stellar blogging/reading as of late. I have a big work project that's been taking up most of my time for the past couple of months (but hey, it pays the bills). The end is in sight (3-4 weeks), but until then, I am spending a LOT of free time (aka blogging time) on it. Wahh wahhhh. My point is, I intend to create some more substantial posts (and read more blogs) after this is over.

In the meantime, if you need more Gia, make sure you're following me on twitter! I also play on tumblr now (although I repost some fairly strong political/social stuff, so if you don't think we're on the same page, you may want to stay away).

  1. I feel your pain. I haven't had a supervisor for the past three months, so guess who has to pick up the slack without the extra pay. Hopefully the project winds down for you soon. Good luck!

  2. ooooooh i'm such a tumblr dork-- you would not think I'm a late twenties mother of two if you looked at my page-- probably 16, slightly sexual, drug addict.

  4. I'm probably on the same page, being about as far left as it gets, but I don't know anything about tumblr. Maybe I'll jump in to give it a try. No, I don't really have time. Being unemployed is incredibly time consuming.

    Love,

  5. Work has me in a stepover armlock camel clutch with no signs of the grip loosening. I'm with you.

  6. If it makes you feel any better, I'm working my first Saturday shift at my new job tomorrow at 8AM in the morning and I have no idea when it'll end...

  10. This seems to be a "down time" for blogging, meaning peoples jobs and families have a lot going on in the real world. I hate the real world, but you can't avoid it forever can you? (No, I tried.) We look forward to your return!
