ReplyDeleteHonestly, I didn't catch any of that when I watched it a couple weeks back. Except for Ewan McGregor.....I may have a tiny bit of a man crush on that guy.......maybe.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if anyone has ever compared the plots to all the Disney films to all the Shakespeare plays? I've heard that there are really no new stories, just the same stories told over and over again.
ReplyDeleteI think it was a professor who once told me that Pride and Prejudice was basically Much Ado About Nothing and that blew my mind.
Welp, if the movie is anything like you said it is (which I have no reason to doubt), I won't be watching it.

ReplyDeleteI had this problem with Avatar vs. Pocahontas. I kept waiting for blue what's-her-name to burst into "Colors of the Wind". Since she didn't, I took control of the situation myself.
