Honestly, I didn't catch any of that when I watched it a couple weeks back. Except for Ewan McGregor.....I may have a tiny bit of a man crush on that guy.......maybe.
I wonder if anyone has ever compared the plots to all the Disney films to all the Shakespeare plays? I've heard that there are really no new stories, just the same stories told over and over again.
I think it was a professor who once told me that Pride and Prejudice was basically Much Ado About Nothing and that blew my mind.
I had this problem with Avatar vs. Pocahontas. I kept waiting for blue what's-her-name to burst into "Colors of the Wind". Since she didn't, I took control of the situation myself.

ReplyDeleteI guess I don't need to watch that movie now. I'll just watch Aladdin again instead.

Welp, if the movie is anything like you said it is (which I have no reason to doubt), I won't be watching it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. I know EXACTLY what to say when I watch with my hubs. THANKS GIA!!
ReplyDeleteMy head hurts.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it and now I don't need to. It will never compare to your version of it.
