Because cats LOVE being put into cutesy outfits. How about you shave the entirety of your cat except right around its head and boom, it's a lion? No? Okay, shave the front part of the cat leaving the back haunches and tail unshaved, and now kitty has a mullet! No again? Okay, no shaving, how about you take a bunch of polaroids of your cat, tape those polaroids to your cat and call it "the entirety of the internet"?
Ha ha! Yeah, cats don't cooperate so well. For several years, I got costumes for my dog because my dog park had a Halloween party. For real. So one year I saw this really pretty cone shaped princess hat for kitties and bought it. It was adorable, but it was more of a game of which cat could get it off the quickest. Darn cats. Good luck!

ReplyDeleteNo one can make a cat do anything it doesn't want to. If your cat consents to dressing up in a costume -- GO FOR IT!
ReplyDeleteI think Debra knows what she is talking about.
ReplyDeleteAnytime I try to put clothing on our basset hound, she immediately shits. It really ruins the outfit
ReplyDeleteNow I really want to dress the girls up for Halloween...
