Santa and the Naughty Elf, Revisited

Remember Santa and the Naughty Elf from a few years ago? I thought it'd be fun to check in and see how they're doing this year. 

It's not that Gia Elf isn't happy for Santa Boyfriend, it's just that Santa Boyfriend needs to be a little more sensitive to the fact that not everyone skips a meal and loses 6 pounds.

Gia Elf is sure the cookies are unrelated to the weight loss. They're magical Christmas cookies.

She'll be a fun addition to the sleigh this year!

So Santa Boyfriend and Gia Elf tackled present delivery as a couples activity, and they both loved it. 

And they had the best Christmas ever. 

All the presents got delivered. And then Santa took a nap for 45 days.

Baby It's Hot Outside

So, the east coast is currently having some unseasonably warm weather. 

Therefore, I'd like to present a twist on an old holiday date rapey classic:

Baby It's Hot Outside

I really can't stay 

Baby it's warm outside

I've got to go away 

Baby it's hot out there
This evening has been so very nice
It's hot as hell, you need some ice

My kitty will start to worry 

It's too hot to pet something so furry

Kitty will be pacing the floor 

Listen to the air conditioner roar
So really I'd better scurry 
Chunky monkey, please don't hurry
Maybe just a drink or six more 

Put some netflix on while I pour

The neighbors might think 

Baby, it's bad out there
Say, what's in this drink? 

Global warming is mad out there

I wish I knew how 

you're getting sweaty now

To cool myself down 

 Don't you have a summer nightgown?

I ought to say no, no, no 

Mind if I turn the air up?
At least I'm gonna say that I tried

 What's the sense of sweating inside?
I really can't stay 

 Baby don't hold out
Ah, but it's hot outside

I've got to get home 

Oh, baby, there's no breeze out there
Say, lend me your fan 

It's a hundred degrees out there
You've really been grand 

 Sweat when you touch my hand

Genius, I know. Apologies for the lack of art on this one. I got my new macbook (hooray!!) but I'm having some trouble making paintbrush work and open my images properly (grumble grumble).

My wonderful old macbook is on its last legs, so I've been looking at getting a new one.

We have the best date nights.

But the answer is no. No, I could not.

Yes bloggy friends, I'm coming to terms with investing an arm and a leg into a new laptop.

In 16somethingsomething, a bunch of Pilgrims came to America.

Yay, religious tolerance! How nice!

They brought supplies with them to get through the first winter in America.

They were in trouble.  But then the pilgrims met the natives.

The pilgrims didn’t really understand the native people or their ways.

The pilgrims were also kind of jerks.

Things started to look pretty bleak for the pilgrims. Until...

The native americans shared their harvest, and the pilgrims survived.

 And they were super grateful. For a solid five minutes.
