Yep, it's that time of year, to reflect on how I still can't do a pull up and make new resolutions that will probably last at least a week or so. This year's resolution?
So, I've come to realize that I've slowly been drinking more and more lately.
So it's time to cut back, sigh.
So I'm gonna stop drinking during the work week (again). Weekends are still drinking time though.
Anyone else cutting back on the booze this winter?
I don't get a buzz from alcohol; it just makes me sleepy and dizzy, so I have no urge to drink booze. I have heard rumours that I'm in the minority in this respect. Sometimes I wish that I could just enjoy a glass of wine like a normal adult... oh well.
ReplyDeleteI got martini glasses for Christmas. So, no.
ReplyDeleteI used to enjoy drinking a lot. That statement is the same with or without the comma.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can do better than Joeh's comment. That made me chuckle. Whatever you want to do for self improvement, go for it. Maybe switch to Boyfriend's calorie-free whacky tobacky option for mellowing out after a hard work day. (By the way, my resolution is to not sound like a 80 year old by using phrases like "whacky tobacky.")
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to get back to only drinking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That way, I'm cutting back, but the distilleries don't have to issue layoffs.
ReplyDeleteLol. Booze is unnecessary calories. I'm all for cutting that back. My wine is for my weekend time. :)
ReplyDeleteYou drink less; I drink more.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I tried giving up beer, but beer just can't give up me, and thus our torrid love affair must go on.
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling okay? Really though, I barely drink anymore. The 11 bottles of wine in my cabinet are feeling pretty damn neglected. But I was stocking up for winter so maybe I'll just start making friends with all those reds. Good luck!
