That's rough. Eventually, the cat has to eat, right?
I think I could mix carpet fuzz and tomatoes and my cat would chomp it down. I should count my blessings because I hear that a lot o cats are much more finicky.
Just do what my wife does. Buy a lifetime's worth of everything for the cats, see if they like any of it, pile it up for months on end, and then donate it all to the local shelter. You'll have piles of cans and bags and be poorer for a while, but eventually the cats will like something.
So what happens when a cat doesn't eat the food, does it go feral and start murdering neighborhood squirrels and birds for food instead of for sport? My kid is getting into the phase where she won't eat anything nutritious and it is a similar struggle. I keep feeling like she's going to go to the pediatrician and they're going to wonder how a 2.5 year old has scurvy. Good luck!
