We've been reading about how bad the flu is this year and boy did we not want to catch that!
YEP. Luckily it's not the flu, but Boyfriend came down with a nasty virus this weekend.
He was very feverish and delusional and definitely did not know what he was saying. I, on the other hand, was very good and helpful....from a distance.
Poor Boyfriend! Send him good vibes and tissues and cans of soup.
I went through what seemed to be two months of being sick before and after New Year's, and I don't even want to think about that happening again anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope he gets better and if I get sick again, I'm blaming him. It's one of those online viruses.
What did you do as "Nurse Gia" other than the texting to make sure he was alive? You guys get flu shots, right? Get flu shots, everyone! It's not about you, it's about making sure that you don't accidentally murder babies and the elderly.
ReplyDeleteSome chicken soup can perform miracles. I've been getting flu shots for years and this year was the first time I got the flu in decades. It only was bad for a couple of days and I lived. I did a lot better than my younger coworkers. Get the shot.
ReplyDeleteGia are your nursing services for hire? You know, just in case. :)
