The Bathtub.

Welp, that's pretty much where I'm at right now. I'm either going to clean the bathtub, or see if I can make a low budget horror film out of it. Because cleaning is stupid.

Feel free to leave me your cleaning horror stories below, which I will use as ammunition when I tell Boyfriend I'm not that bad, see?

  1. Do you have hard water too? I hate cleaning the tub. It's where I go to get clean, why isn't the tub getting clean too!?! And you know what, screw you, grout, for taking in all the stains and gunk and being so damn hard to clean.

  2. I used to live in a studio apartment that was built just before the 1st world war. It still had the original clawfoot tub, complete with peeling led paint which made it impossible to clean. So I didn't.

  3. As a bachelor, I lived in an apartment for two whole years and never cleaned the shower once. God help whoever moved into that place after. I can only assume he or she was eaten by the monster that rose from the grime.

  4. I only clean the shower when I notice it and it starts to bug me... so maybe once in a month and a half? I figure with all the shampoo and body wash that goes into it it can't really be THAT dirty.

  5. The shower in our house seems to build up grime twice as fast as the apartment we moved out of in December. In fact, I think grime builds up at our new place faster than any of the other places we lived in the past. As the official cleaner of the shower this does not please me.

  6. I spray some cleaner in the shower right after I get out. Then I ignore it. It's kind of a self-cleaning shower. Willy Dunne Wooters' bathroom scares me. There's this brown stain or something growing above the bathroom sink. I don't pee at his place. Besides, he usually comes to my house because he's in love with Franklin.

    Love,
    Janie

  7. I looked up some really great tips online about using baking soda and blue Dawn to get the soap scum off bathroom tiles and fixtures. That was around 6 weeks ago. I have yet to actually TRY the tips, but you feel free to test them for me and let me know how they work.
