I'm the Mayor of my own Crazy Town. Sheriff, too.
Well, without a standing up sort of photo, I couldn't tell if her belly in fact drags on the ground. If not, I have seen fatter/plumper/fluffier!
Poor kitty, she's just... er... big boned...
I can't really tell. I need to see a profile shot of the cat standing up with a tape measurer around its engorged belly. How do you exercise a cat, though? Are there kitty treadmills?
Have you considered that pointing out kitty's weight makes her feel bad, thus makes her want to eat? The cycle continues...
Feed her gluten free mice.
I don't know about cats but with dogs if you can't feel their ribs through the fat on their sides then they're overweight.
I need to know her measurements, weight, and BMI to really determine if she needs to start a diet.
Shes like the Kim Kardashian of cats - compared to all the ACTUALLY famous cats out there, shes huge. Compared to normal cats, shes perfectly lovely but has godawful fashion sense. Boxes are soooo 2007.
My aunt had a cat who was at least three times this size. He looked like a throw pillow. In comparison, she looks pretty svelte.
I don't think she's fat, but she has a tiny head...so, maybe I need to change my answer.
I would like to clarify my "yes" with a comment. This cat is not alarmingly fat. If it were a person, this cat would be chubby. My cat gets called a "big boy" but he's not "faaaat".... he's just chubby and bigger. And getting older. I'd say this cat is healthy but chubby, and ask the vet if they think kitty is too fat.
I voted but to explain, she's actually not THAT obese. My cat was a bit bigger than her. My Aunt's cat, her stomach touched the floor and she would lay down to eat.
She is not fat....she is fluffy.
Sometimes a little extra flesh and fur is sexy.Love,Janie
Well, one thing's for sure - according to her folded back ears in the first pic, she sure doesn't appreciate your camera work! :-)
She does seem to fit in her box, see she's fits she sits.
We have a fat cat, and she really is fat! I almost can't pick her up! So judging any other cat compared to ours, well, there is no comparison! (Cute pics!)
The vet once told me that the only way to tell if a cat is fat is to look at it from above and if it's sides go in a bit below it's ribcage, then it's fine.
meh. my cats are fatter. in yo face.
No comment because my cat Bosco is the same size.
also how many cat houses and trees does your sister have??!!
I would say she is more pleasantly plump, rather than fat. But did you look at her eyes in that first photo? She is freaked out that she is being shamed before all the world! Now she's just gonna go eat more kibble to soothe her feelings and then she really WILL be fat. Now see what you did??
The cat is zoftig but not shapely enough to qualify as pulchritudinous
